From foods and beverages to buildings and vehicles, materials contribute to our lives in a major way. For example, materials provide insulation and heat to buildings, which in turn saves money on heating bills. It is not just the material itself that can help save money. Every single element of the modern world can be traced back to the application of materials science.Modern society relies on materials, so it is only natural that we need to understand their properties. Materials science has helped to dev elop material products that help us in our daily lives. It is only natural that we should learn how to better utilize materials in our daily lives.
